senior Leadership - steve & Joanne Rost
Pastor Steve Rost is an experienced leader in the body of Christ with over 35 years of ministry experience. Before starting Tabernacle, Steve helped grow Living Word Church in Arizona from a brand new church plant to a megachurch of 7000+ members as one of the elders/founders. Steve has led in a variety of ministries: Youth, Men’s Ministry, Adult Ministries, Homegroups, as well as teaching at Living Word’s Bible college. He also served under Chuck Pierce (Glory of Zion) and 4 other churches as an elder, and received trainings under John Paul Jackson, and at conferences at Bethel Church (Redding, CA).
Growing up in the Baptist church, Steve learned a solid foundation for the scriptures but hungered for more connection and the personal realness of Jesus. In 1980, he found this as he experienced the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and never looked back in his pursuit for God. Later when he was healed at a conference he attended, he developed a passion to see other people meet Jesus as a healer.
As well as serving in the church world, Steve achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Science/Biology from Southern Oregon University and rose to the top of the Pharmaceutical industry, where he was the manager in his company over the whole Southwestern United States. He retired from his job in the pharmaceutical world in order to dedicate himself to full time ministry.
Steve’s passions are being a spiritual father, holiness, God’s presence, seeing God invade the political world, and being faithful to God at all costs and in all situations. When he has free time Steve loves playing golf and watching all kinds of sports. His favorite movie is Hoosiers. Steve & Joanne have been married 40 years and have 3 grown children: Shaun, Jerod, and Elizabeth who are all on staff, receiving calls in full time Christian ministry.
Pastor Joanne Rost, is a powerful woman of God and spiritual mother with many years of ministry experience. Pursuing God’s love & presence she is like a “Heidi Baker”, a mother of mothers. Joanne is also a true spiritual pioneer building many ministries from the ground up. She views her greatest accomplishment in life as raising three children who all are serving the Lord in full time ministry. Joanne’s burning desire is to say Yes and obey God at any cost and at any price, no matter what. She lives her life for others and to see heaven invade Earth.
In the past she has served as an elder in Chuck Pierce’s church, Glory of Zion, and traveled with Chuck Pierce. She personally launched and led large children’s and women’s ministries (200-700 people) and is a seasoned counselor in the body of Christ. Joanne completed her BA in Psychology at Southern Oregon University.
After being trained in Biblical Dream Interpretation under John Paul Jackson, she traveled with Barbie Breathitt (and serving on her board of directors), as well as personally leading dream interpretation evangelism teams on three campuses of North Central Texas College for 5 years, where numerous students received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Before giving herself to full time ministry, Joanne also competed in the Horse world - doing jumping events through Hunt Club, showing Quarter Horses with a professional trainer and barrel racing. She's also raised prize winning show dogs. She is somewhat of a thrill seeker, (used to 4 Wheel) and loves skydiving.

Jerod is also the president and founder of Power for Life ministries has been an evangelist for decades and preached the gospel to thousands of people around the world.
family ministries director - caitlin bands
Caitlin is the Youth, Children’s, & Young Adults ministry pastor at Revival City.
Caitlin Bands is a missionary to the United States of America from South Africa, is a past Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry third year graduate from Bethel Church where she was a part of the healing rooms and served under a mentor in her third year who was a first-year revival group pastor. She works to help host BSSM alumni events in the DFW area, so Bethel people from Texas can keep the fire going.
Before coming to the USA Caitlin was a teacher in South Africa and has a Bachelor in Education degree. She was a youth pastor for a church in South Africa for a year and a half where she got to visit schools in her hometown and see God touch them powerfully. She was a part of the healing rooms in South Africa, and one of her mentors is now the healing rooms overseer for Africa.
She has been preaching the word of God since she was twenty-one years old. In 2016, she lived in Costa Rica for three months, where she traveled around the country ministering in healing, prophecy, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. She is passionate about all the mountains of society being reached for Jesus and the Bride of Christ stepping into her fullness, seeing an awakening in Texas and the nations! Her core values include creating a healthy family, focused on His presence, purity, and the power of God. Joy is our inheritance!
Preaching & home group leaders - Ruben & Cathy Garcia
Ruben is a gifted, powerful, funny and engaging speaker and carries the gift of preaching and communicating God’s word and nature to people of all ages. He has been in ministry since childhood, growing up with a father as a pastor he consistently had opportunities to teach, preach, do worship from a variety of instruments and minister to those in need. Ruben & Cathy lead the Godchasers Homegroup which is the longest running homegroup currently at Revival City.
Worship pastor - Burnie Sanders
Burnie has been at Revival City since August 2020. Previously, Burnie served as an Executive Pastor, Elder and International Evangelist for over thirty years ministering throughout the world in countries such as Iceland, Russia, South Africa, Mexico, Africa, Germany, Faroe Islands and England.
Growing up in an Apostolic home as a Pastors son, Burnie had a solid foundation of scripture and felt a compelling pull from God at a young age and became the Assistant Pastor of his Fathers church, As well as ministering at nearby churches. After graduating from Bible College he began his ministerial career.
Burnie’s passion is to see a move of God and spread the fire to this generation.
Burnie is married to his wife Gwen for 34 years and has been blessed with three children: Burnie Jr, Colten, and Malorie Faulkner, son-in-law Bryce, grandson: Jye and granddaughter: Eryn.
counseling/inner healing/sozo - James & Gerry Webb
James and Gerry Webb lead the Revival City Sozo Ministry team. They have been leaders at Revival City Church from the beginning, and were active in church leadership for many years as well as part of the movement of the Holy Spirit in the late 70’s. They have a pastoral heart to care and serve people and are destined and called for this ministry. Both are passionate about seeing others saved, set free, delivered and prospered through God’s plan for their lives. James and Gerry are spiritual parents to many, and love seeing God restore people’s identities and destinies through the Sozo Ministry.
DREW Arnold - Youth Pastor
Drew is our fiery Youth pastor who has a passion for this next generation to see them stepping into all that God has called and destined them to walk in. Drew’s Position is to lead Freedom House Transitional Home spiritually, along with Charis Bible School as a second year student.
Morgan Nobles - mops Leader
Morgan is the wife to Revival City’s own drummer, James, and mom to three amazing boys- Haeden, Easton, Gray, and a baby due in March of 2022! Morgan comes from a family in ministry and has been raised in it her entire life. She has ten years of leadership experience and has worked at two previous churches side by side with other moms in the community. Morgan also runs a home Bible study for her neighborhood with some fantastic women as well. Morgan has always shared her motherhood experiences with the hopes of encouraging other moms, and bringing comfort and love to them, but it wasn’t until a year ago where she felt God calling her deeply to get out into the world and be more impactful. When Mops was presented to her to lead, she knew this was an answer to this hearts desire. Even though MOPS has been around for many decades, her prayer is that this will be a refreshing and new season for these moms. She wants to grow together in community through motherhood, but also through friendships.

Mark & Esmie have a rich history with God and carry the power and love of God in a very special way. They lead our pre-service prayer on Sunday mornings and also oversee our prayer lines and altar ministry
Intercessory prayer Meeting Leader - Jackie Luce
At age 18, after growing up in the church, the Lord started drawing Jackie's heart and ultimately reached her while she was standing on a chair dusting her dorm room book shelf. As she noticed and opened a forgotten book, Bill Bright's gospel message "came off the pages" and pierced her: Standing on that chair, she broke before the Lord and her life was forever changed.
Private intercession, campus and church intercessory prayer ministries followed shortly after. She loves discovering the inexhaustible depths of who Jesus is via study of the Word in surrender to the Spirit and currently attends Charis Bible College.
Since age 12, when Jackie began as a violinist in a college symphony and as a church violinist, she has had both a career as a classical violinist and as a volunteer worship violinist for church events and conferences. She is an orchestra, string and vocal music educator and clinician, and loves integrating music with intercession.
Jackie is so grateful for what Jesus has done for her and longs to see others, for whom He bled and died for, become captured by His love, get freed from the bondages of this world and experience the unending grace, blessing and love that God has for them. She is passionate about believers, based on the passion Jesus has for His bride as expressed in Song of Songs, uniting in intercession for revival in our land.
She is grateful to Jim, her supportive husband of over 32 years, for his love and help in raising their 2 beautiful children who also love music and prayer ministry. Jackie has felt the call to prayer for some time with confirmation from others, and now is stepping into lead prayer and intercession at Revival City Church.
Womens ministry & Video team - Laura & royce Fowler
Royce & Laura have been involved with aspects of video production for decades and have a heart to see people encounter God through media. Laura is also an experienced Bible teacher and brings her passion for the scriptures into action as leader of the Revival City Women’s Ministry. Laura has a strong passion for the Word of God, and has been in small group ministry and teaching for many years. She received much of her perspective for the practical application of the Word of God from teachers like Joyce Meyer and Andrew Wommack; much of her healing ministry training from Pastor Jessye Ruffin of Covenant Church Carrollton, Joan Hunter ministries, and teachings from Dr. Henry W. Wright, author of A More Excellent Way; along with Sozo training through Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. She served in media ministry at Covenant Church in Carrollton, Tx for 7 years.
The Lord had a powerful hand on Royce early in life, and directed Royce to head for Los Angeles and go to Lighthouse for International Foursquare Evangelism Bible College (now Life Pacific University), under the leadership of Jack Hayford. His time there helped to strengthen his faith and equip him for his career. Royce has many years of faithful service in a variety of ministry areas, including security and media, and knows how important media can be in helping create an atmosphere of intimate worship and transmitting that atmosphere to our online congregation.
Currently Laura brings her passion for the scriptures into action as leader of the Revival City Women’s Ministry, is a part of the Sozo team, and serves with Royce in our media ministry.
Both Royce and Laura have a strong desire to see the body of Christ equipped and able to experience the sweet taste of victory and unspeakable joy that comes with Kingdom living.
